The Lubricants Marketing Implementer (Trade Marketing) will execute agreed-upon brand and channel marketing initiatives, campaigns, and programs to drive market penetration, enhance brand health, meet business targets, and foster customer loyalty across both B2B and B2C sectors.

Principal Accountabilities include leading strategic initiatives, overseeing financial performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Key responsibilities encompass managing high-performing teams, driving operational efficiency, and fostering stakeholder relationships to support business growth. Additionally, the role requires analyzing market trends, mitigating risks, and implementing scalable solutions to enhance productivity. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, including planning, coordination, and oversight of all promotional activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align campaigns with brand objectives and target audience needs. Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand identity across all channels. Collaborate closely with the Lubricants Marketing Manager to contribute to the formulation of the country marketing strategy, focusing on key brands and channels, in accordance with the VE Lubricants marketing planning calendar.

Oversee the execution of lubricants brand and channel (B2B & B2C) sales and marketing initiatives in alignment with pre-approved strategies, encompassing concept creation, hands-on implementation, and coordination with third-party agencies as needed, all while adhering to established budget constraints.

Oversee the execution of B2B customer value propositions (CVP) and the management of the sales pipeline (SPAN COP) in collaboration with sales teams and the Frontline Technical Services (FLTS) Team.

Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to verify that target returns on marketing investments are achieved, both before and after implementation.

Oversee and cultivate agency partnerships to execute approved marketing communication strategies for designated brands and channel initiatives.

Assist in the execution of distributor marketing initiatives on-site, while overseeing agency activities and conducting performance evaluations as required.

The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of the role’s requirements, coupled with a proven skill set and relevant professional experiences. They should demonstrate expertise in their field, supported by hands-on experience in similar positions. Additionally, the candidate must meet all specified qualifications and have a track record of successfully handling the duties associated with the role. Familiarity with industry best practices and the ability to apply them effectively in a professional setting are essential.

A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline, is required for this position.

With a minimum of three years of experience in a marketing or marketing support capacity, candidates must possess robust analytical abilities.

Strategically minded, with the capacity to conceptualize innovative ideas and transform them into actionable operational strategies.

Demonstrates proficiency in extracting actionable insights from data and conveying them clearly to diverse stakeholders. Possesses a solid grasp of Retail and Business-to-Consumer market dynamics.

Proven expertise in optimizing value chains, along with strategic pricing, channel management, and Route-to-Market (RTM) capabilities, is essential for this role.

Demonstrates exceptional commercial acumen and sound judgment in decision-making processes.

Demonstrates a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction and a deep understanding of client needs.

Proven capability to oversee intricate projects while cultivating and maintaining a broad network of professional relationships.

Proven ability to effectively manage relationships and maintain meticulous organizational discipline.

Proficiency in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environments and digital marketing is highly desirable.

Demonstrates advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, along with proficiency in other widely used software applications.
