Our client, a prominent telecommunications enterprise, is seeking to appoint an Activation Team Lead.

Reports directly to the Area Sales Manager, receiving guidance and oversight for assigned responsibilities.

To deliver outstanding customer service and ensure seamless operational efficiency, this role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high satisfaction levels. The position demands strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric mindset, along with proficiency in relevant software tools. Key duties include addressing customer concerns via phone, email, or in-person interactions, documenting resolutions accurately, and collaborating with team members to enhance service quality. Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in a customer-facing environment, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

To prioritize on-site retailer engagement, aiming to enhance brand awareness and improve SIM and Float performance while ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising standards at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents.

Oversee and execute the primary duties associated with this position, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Lead critical projects, manage workflows efficiently, and maintain high performance standards across all assigned tasks. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive results, foster innovation, and uphold accountability in meeting deadlines. Monitor progress, assess outcomes, and implement improvements to optimize productivity and efficiency. Serve as a key liaison between departments, facilitating seamless communication and coordination to achieve strategic goals. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices while delivering consistent, measurable results.

Effectively oversee the identification, recruitment, and strategic mapping of Agents, with a focus on engaging mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.

Ensure consistent call rates by conducting regular visits to SOS and Agents according to established route plans (beat plans).

Provide and distribute all essential business tools required for seamless transactions at SSO and agent outlets, while conducting comprehensive training sessions for SOS and Trash Agents to ensure full comprehension of operational processes.

Conduct anti-money laundering (AML) training sessions and evaluate agents on their understanding of AML protocols. Additionally, provide specialized training on Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to SOS, emphasizing their role within the SIM REG framework.

Float and stock management, along with sales oversight, require consistent monitoring to maintain optimal inventory levels. Strict adherence to the 1.5x stock rule must be enforced for agents, while ensuring Sales Support Officers (SOS) maintain sufficient stock of SIM cards to facilitate seamless new registrations and activations.

To uphold merchandising standards, the role involves creating and sustaining guidelines while ensuring the availability of merchandising materials at SOS and Agent outlets.

A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required.
