ABOUT THE ROLE
We seek a Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and execution of WSU’s urban sanitation carbon mitigation initiative in Kenya. This position will oversee carbon data collection and management, the establishment of MRV systems, stakeholder engagement, and the formalization and integration of sanitation service providers—all essential for registering, monitoring, verifying, and issuing carbon credits from faucal sludge management and methane mitigation efforts in Nairobi, Kisumu, Natasha, and Nakuru.
We seek candidates who possess the following critical qualifications: a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are mandatory, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to project management are required. Prior experience leading cross-functional teams is highly preferred, as is familiarity with regulatory compliance standards.
Seasoned professionals with a robust background and deep expertise in the relevant field are encouraged to apply.
