Position Description
We are actively seeking additional consultant expertise to conceptualize, develop, and execute environmentally sustainable urban development initiatives. These professionals will lead or support the design of data collection tools, oversee field activities, conduct thorough analysis, prepare detailed reports, and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions. The ideal candidates must demonstrate proven experience and technical proficiency in executing evaluations, assessments, and research within the specified sectors. Familiarity with capacity-building initiatives in these domains is highly desirable. Additionally, we welcome specialists capable of serving as subject authorities for technical review panels, bringing deep expertise and a strong track record in the relevant fields.
Proficient candidates must demonstrate expertise across several essential skill domains to excel in this role. A strong foundation in analytical reasoning and problem-solving is paramount, enabling the effective evaluation of complex scenarios. Outstanding communication abilities—both written and verbal—are crucial for articulating ideas clearly and collaborating seamlessly with stakeholders. Proficiency in relevant technical tools, software, or methodologies specific to the industry is also required, along with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks. Prior experience in a similar capacity, coupled with the capacity to adapt to evolving demands, will be highly valued.
Conducting a diverse array of research initiatives, including studies, assessments, and evaluations employing mixed-methods approaches (e.g., performance, impact analysis), is a key responsibility of this role.
Responsibilities include managing the implementation of a variety of mixed-methods evaluations—including effect and performance evaluations—as well as analyses and assessments.
Strong statistical expertise, including knowledge of sampling methods, analytical tools, and data validation processes, is critical for ensuring and maintaining high data quality standards.
Developing and finalizing assessment reports represents a key responsibility of this role. The incumbent will be tasked with drafting, reviewing, and approving comprehensive reports that accurately reflect evaluation findings, ensuring clarity, precision, and adherence to established guidelines throughout the process.
Capable of implementing participatory data collection methods and protocols, applying systems thinking to evaluation design, and guiding participatory data validation and analysis exercises.
Developing and delivering instructional content on logical frameworks and transformation theory.
Enhancing the staff’s proficiency in evaluation and learning initiatives serves as a key objective.
Developing and implementing programs across any of the specified industries.
Demonstrated expertise in securing financial resources and attracting investment capital is required.
Proven expertise in strengthening institutions tasked with planning, designing, and developing urban infrastructure.

Professional candidates will have a proven track record of successfully managing, organizing, and executing extensive technical initiatives within their areas of expertise.
Demonstrates expertise in developing evaluation frameworks, employing both quantitative and qualitative research methods, and conducting thorough analysis. Exhibits exceptional proficiency in crafting compelling proposals and reports.
Proven ability to deliver effective training sessions and facilitate group learning experiences with clarity and impact.
