Position Description
We seek experienced consultants to contribute to the conceptualization, execution, and advancement of sustainable urban development initiatives. These professionals will lead or support the development of data collection tools, oversee field activities, perform analysis, compile reports, and facilitate knowledge-sharing efforts. Proficiency in conducting evaluations, assessments, and research within these domains is essential, though prior experience in capacity-building initiatives is highly desirable. Additionally, we welcome specialists capable of serving as subject-matter experts to review teams, demonstrating deep expertise or proven track records in the specified fields.
Proficient in a variety of essential skill areas, candidates must demonstrate expertise in key competencies relevant to the position. These include strong analytical abilities, effective communication skills, and a solid understanding of industry-specific tools and technologies. Additionally, proficiency in project management methodologies, problem-solving techniques, and collaborative teamwork is required. Familiarity with data analysis, technical writing, and stakeholder management is also necessary to ensure successful performance in the role.
Developing a diverse portfolio of research initiatives, including studies, evaluations, and mixed-methods assessments—such as performance and impact analyses—is a key responsibility of the role.
Responsibilities include managing the implementation of a variety of mixed-methods evaluations, including effect and performance assessments, as well as comprehensive analyses.
A strong command of statistical methods, sampling strategies, analytical tools, and data validation processes is crucial for ensuring accurate data control and quality analysis.
Crafting and finalizing comprehensive assessment reports constitutes a key responsibility of this role.
Proficient in executing collaborative data collection methodologies and protocols, applying systems-oriented approaches to assess evaluation frameworks, and guiding teams through participatory data validation and analytical processes.
Developing and delivering structured frameworks and theoretical frameworks for transformation is essential.
Enhancing the team’s ability to assess performance and foster continuous improvement is a core responsibility.
Developing and implementing programs across any of the specified industries.
With a proven track record in securing and deploying financial resources and investment opportunities, candidates should demonstrate expertise in attracting and managing capital. This role requires the ability to strategically align financial initiatives with organizational goals while cultivating relationships with investors and stakeholders. A deep understanding of financial markets, funding mechanisms, and economic trends is essential to drive sustainable growth and maximize returns on investment.
Possesses a proven track record in enhancing the capabilities of institutions tasked with urban infrastructure planning, design, and development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience with full-stack development, including proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React and back-end languages like Node.js or Python
• Strong understanding of cloud services, specifically AWS, with experience deploying and managing scalable applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A Master’s Degree in a relevant field along with a minimum of seven years of pertinent professional experience—or alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree coupled with at least a decade of relevant expertise—is required.
Candidates must possess substantial relevant experience, along with strong technical abilities, and meet essential qualifications such as fluency in both written and spoken English.
Experienced in leading, coordinating, and executing extensive technical initiatives within specialized domains.
Experienced in developing and implementing evaluation frameworks, employing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and conducting thorough data analysis. Demonstrated proficiency in crafting compelling proposals and producing detailed reports.
Demonstrates exceptional capability in delivering training sessions and facilitating group discussions.
