The incumbent will serve as the Secretary to the Audit Committee of the Board, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of committee operations. This role will involve maintaining accurate records, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and facilitating communication between committee members and stakeholders. Additionally, the Secretary will support the Committee Chair in coordinating activities, distributing relevant documentation, and ensuring compliance with governance policies and procedures.
Prepare and manage responses to external auditors’ Management Letters, ensuring thorough review and resolution of all identified matters within established timeframes.
Conduct special audit investigations as necessary to address specific concerns or issues that may arise.
Coordinate risk mitigation efforts and oversee the enforcement of established risk management protocols.
Foster a company-wide mindset that prioritizes risk awareness and mitigation at every level.
Compile and deliver comprehensive audit and risk reports for review by the Board of Directors.
Evaluate and oversee the execution of audit recommendations to ensure adherence to established guidelines and timelines.
Facilitate adherence to corporate governance best practices and ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, addressing their inquiries promptly and providing any necessary supporting materials or explanations. Minimum eight years of direct experience within audit and risk disciplines is required, with a minimum of five years served in a leadership capacity.
