Collection Africa is looking for an experienced and technically proficient IT Manager to join our team. This position requires leading all IT operations, guaranteeing robust, secure, and high-performing systems while blending strategic oversight with practical systems’ administration. You will spearhead digital transformation initiatives, enforce cybersecurity protocols, supervise enterprise infrastructure, and enhance our primary PRSP/SMS and VoIP/SIP communication platforms to facilitate organizational expansion.
Core Resposibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies with a focus on optimizing infrastructure management to align with organizational objectives. Oversee the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technological needs, mitigate risks, and drive innovation. Lead initiatives to enhance system performance, maintain compliance with industry standards, and manage vendor relationships. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including strategic planning and infrastructure oversight. Proficiency in cloud computing, cybersecurity frameworks, and IT governance is essential, alongside strong leadership and communication abilities.
The role entails overseeing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of servers, networks, and associated systems. Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and managing hardware and software, monitoring system health, and troubleshooting technical issues. Additionally, this position requires implementing security protocols, managing user accounts and permissions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux, virtualization technologies, and backup solutions is essential, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus.
We seek a seasoned professional to oversee cybersecurity and risk management initiatives, ensuring the protection of digital assets and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will develop and implement robust security policies, conduct thorough risk assessments, and proactively mitigate potential threats. Responsibilities include monitoring security systems, managing incident response, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, expertise in risk assessment frameworks, and a deep understanding of industry regulations. A degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CASM, or RISC.
To effectively oversee the management of communication systems, the ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the infrastructure that supports voice, data, and video transmission. This role requires proficiency in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network hardware, including routers, switches, and servers, to ensure seamless connectivity and minimal downtime. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong analytical skills to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and enhance system performance. A deep understanding of protocols such as TCP/IP, VoIP, and SIP is essential, along with experience in network security and compliance with industry standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be necessary to align communication systems with organizational goals while adhering to budgetary and operational constraints.

A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required.
Minimum 7 years of IT leadership experience within a fast-paced and evolving organizational setting is required.
Experienced in administering systems, managing networks, implementing cybersecurity measures, and leveraging cloud infrastructure solutions.
Professional certifications such as CCNA, GCSE, ITIL, CISSP, CISA, and Security+ are highly advantageous.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience with PRSP/SMS platforms as well as VoIP/SIP systems.
