Collection Africa is looking to recruit an energetic and technically proficient IT Manager. This position will involve overseeing the entirety of our IT operations, guaranteeing the efficiency, security, and resilience of our systems. You will blend strategic leadership with practical systems’ management, spearheading digital transformation initiatives, supervising cybersecurity protocols, administering enterprise infrastructure, and refining our primary PRSP/SMS and VoIP/SIP communication platforms to accommodate organizational expansion.

Core Resposibilities

Develops and implements comprehensive IT strategies to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives, ensuring robust infrastructure management. Oversees the planning, deployment, and optimization of IT systems, networks, and services to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth. Collaborates with stakeholders to assess technology needs, identify opportunities for innovation, and mitigate risks associated with IT infrastructure. Maintains compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while fostering a secure and scalable IT environment. Leads cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects, drive digital transformation, and deliver high-performance solutions that align with long-term business goals.

Systems administrators are tasked with the oversight, maintenance, and optimization of an organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of servers, networks, and related systems. They install, configure, update, and troubleshoot hardware and software components while monitoring system performance to preempt and resolve potential issues. Responsibilities include managing user accounts, enforcing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. Additionally, they collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades, implement disaster recovery plans, and provide technical assistance to end-users. Strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in scripting and automation tools, and a deep understanding of networking principles are essential for this role.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management professionals are responsible for safeguarding an organization’s digital assets, systems, and data against evolving threats while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. They assess vulnerabilities, implement robust security measures, and develop comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate potential breaches or disruptions. Additionally, these experts monitor security protocols, respond to incidents, and conduct regular audits to maintain operational resilience. Strong analytical skills, knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, and familiarity with risk assessment methodologies are essential for success in this role.

The role involves overseeing and optimizing communication systems to ensure seamless connectivity and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, as well as managing hardware and software solutions. Additionally, the position requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement upgrades, enforce security protocols, and resolve technical issues promptly. A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required.

With a minimum of seven years of IT management experience within a fast-paced setting, candidates will have demonstrated proficiency in overseeing complex technological operations.

Proven expertise in systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure.

Professional certifications such as CCNA, GCSE, ITIL, CISSP, CISA, and Security+ are highly beneficial.

Proficiency in PRSP/SMS platforms and VoIP/SIP systems is strongly preferred.
