Ensuring that all necessary clearance documentation is obtained and facilitating the seamless clearance and delivery of shipments is a key responsibility for AGL in handling customs clearance for all Czarnikow clients across Kenya and Uganda.

The role involves monitoring container movements from the port to designated warehouses in Mombasa, Nairobi, and Kampala.

Maintains meticulous records of sugar inventory levels to ensure accurate tracking and availability.

Compiling weekly inventory reports entails systematically tracking and documenting stock levels, usage patterns, and replenishment needs to ensure accurate inventory control and operational efficiency. This role involves gathering data from multiple sources, verifying its accuracy, and presenting findings in a clear, concise format for stakeholders. Proficiency in spreadsheet software, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential for success in this position. Additionally, the role may require collaboration with procurement and warehouse teams to reconcile discrepancies and optimize stock levels.

We will promptly notify Czarnikow of any updates or amendments to government policies and regulations concerning the importation of sugar.

Following the arrival and distribution of sugar shipments to clients, the role requires meticulous quality control checks to ensure each delivery meets specified standards. Responsibilities include verifying shipment accuracy, inspecting for any contamination or damage, and documenting findings in accordance with company protocols. Additionally, the position entails coordinating with logistics teams to resolve discrepancies, maintaining detailed records of each transaction, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines throughout the process.

Maintaining a comprehensive log of all finalized rates is essential. This involves accurately documenting and updating the agreed-upon pricing details for future reference and compliance.

Diligently overseeing inventory levels of sugar to ensure optimal supply.

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee the shipping operations for our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods, manage logistics, and coordinate with carriers to meet delivery deadlines. Experience in shipment tracking, inventory management, and compliance with shipping regulations is required. The Czarnikow shipping desk is tasked with submitting IDF applications on behalf of all Pro forma Invoices received.

Ensure timely preparation and submission of C60 (EG PSP) applications to the Treasury.

We will follow up with Czarnikow to obtain the shipping schedules for all shipments associated with the respective IDF.

To ensure the timely issuance of Conformity Certification, this role involves actively following up with inspection bodies. The position requires persistent communication and coordination to track certification progress and address any outstanding requirements or delays efficiently.

The team will manage the follow-up process for sugar permits, applications, and approvals with the Czarnikow shipping desk.

The professional must verify that all mandatory shipping documents are obtained and properly completed.

Must possess or be eligible for active security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance as required by the position.

All clearance documents of relevance must be obtained and submitted to AGL before proceeding.

Upon receipt of the necessary documentation, initiate and oversee the clearance process to ensure timely and accurate completion. Verify that all required documents meet specified criteria before proceeding with the authorization. Maintain strict adherence to established protocols throughout the clearance procedure to avoid delays or discrepancies.

Duty estimates are calculated, and funds are promptly requested from Czarnikow London, with immediate transfers ensured.

Ensuring the timely payment of duties and taxes is a key responsibility. Additionally, the incumbent must provide daily updates to clients and cc Czarnikow regarding clearance progress.

Ensuring timely notification to Czarnikow regarding low stock levels, as well as overseeing the efficient delivery of sugar from warehouse facilities.

Updating clients regarding fluctuations in sugar markets while maintaining accurate stock balance records in alignment with Czamikow’s standards.

Overseeing the invoicing and payment processes involves meticulous management of financial transactions to ensure timely and accurate billing and remittance. This role requires diligent tracking of invoices, coordination with clients or departments to resolve discrepancies, and adherence to established accounting procedures. Responsibilities include generating and distributing invoices, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining detailed records to support financial reporting and audit compliance. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential for success in this position.

Accurate preparation of all invoices is required, strictly adhering to the mutually agreed pricing structures.

The responsibility includes routing all invoices to Czarnikow’s Finance department for processing and payment. Additionally, it involves tracking the approval status of every issued invoice to ensure timely payment. Furthermore, the role requires verifying that payments to AGL for both local and transit invoices are executed in accordance with the agreed terms.

Responsibilities include reconciling payments received against outstanding accounts to ensure accurate matching of transactions.
