Elevate recruitment procedures and conduct individual evaluations within the SESAME framework.
Handles responsibilities within the Front Office and Back Office Business Units.
Compose routine correspondence for managerial review, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communications. Prepare and refine written materials suitable for submission to senior stakeholders for approval or feedback.
Compile interview shortlists, extend invitations to candidates for interviews, conduct interviews, and notify all interviewed candidates of the outcomes.
Ensure prompt finalization of approved employment documentation and offer letters for chosen candidates.
Monitor the progression of recruitment activities to ensure adherence to established timelines and deadlines.
Conduct orientation sessions for appropriate staff categories.
Draft correspondence regarding modifications to employees’ contractual terms for necessary approvals, and notify payroll to implement the corresponding adjustments.
Monitor staff probationary periods and contract end dates, ensuring all relevant documentation is prepared promptly and accurately.
Oversee the HR helpdesk operations for the designated departments, ensuring efficient resolution of employee inquiries and concerns while maintaining high service standards.
Revise the annual staff appraisal forms to ensure they are ready for distribution.
Prepare a range of reports, including HR statistics, discipline reports, training feedback and evaluation reports, as well as updates on action items from Works Council meetings, among others.
The role involves overseeing training administration tasks, including preparing NITA applications for approval to conduct training, drafting trainees’ memos, coordinating with trainers, and ensuring timely follow-ups with Legal Practitioners’ Officers (Los). Responsibilities also encompass managing attendance lists, issuing certificates, facilitating training evaluations, and organizing internal training sessions, among other duties.
Issue timely pre-alerts regarding the impending end dates of fixed-term contracts to facilitate prompt renewal or termination actions.
All new staff files must be opened promptly, and documents should be accurately filed. Additionally, continuous monitoring of future staff correspondences and filing activities is required to ensure they are recorded in the appropriate files in real time.
Oversee the disciplinary process for staff at supervisory levels and below, which includes gathering witness statements, drafting show cause memos, coordinating panel member invitations for hearings, distributing copies to all relevant parties, documenting minutes of disciplinary hearings, issuing case conclusion correspondence, and securely filing all disciplinary records within the staff file.
Profile
A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Human Resource Management is required.
