Human Resources functions encompass a comprehensive range of strategic and operational duties aimed at managing an organization’s most valuable asset—its workforce. This role involves developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs that enhance employee performance, engagement, and retention while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and employee relations. Additionally, the position oversees workforce planning, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and the resolution of workplace conflicts to foster a productive and harmonious work environment. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in HR information systems and a deep understanding of employment legislation.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our recruitment and onboarding initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of new talent into the organization. The ideal candidate will oversee the full hiring lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to extending offers and facilitating their transition into their roles. Responsibilities include developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, managing applicant tracking systems, and collaborating with hiring managers to align talent acquisition with business objectives. Additionally, the role involves creating and executing onboarding programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity from day one. The successful applicant must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proven track record in talent acquisition, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required, along with relevant certifications (e.g., SHRIMP or PHR) being a plus.

Coordinate recruitment efforts by overseeing the full-cycle hiring process, which involves posting job openings, reviewing applicant submissions to identify top candidates, arranging interview schedules, and verifying professional credentials through reference inquiries.

Draft employment agreements and facilitate the onboarding documentation process.

Deliver comprehensive orientation and induction programs tailored for newly onboarded staff members.

The position involves overseeing employee documentation and managing HR administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate personnel files, processing HR-related paperwork, and coordinating recruitment documentation. Proficiency in HRIS software and strong attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline administrative processes and support workforce management is also required.

Ensure the precision and integrity of employee records and HR databases at all times.

Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for personnel documents and statutory records to ensure compliance and accessibility.

Compile comprehensive HR reports focusing on headcount metrics, leave statuses, absenteeism trends, and employee turnover rates to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Oversee payroll processing and ensure strict adherence to statutory compliance requirements.

Assist in payroll processing by gathering attendance records, overtime hours, and leave information.

Ensure full adherence to all applicable Kenyan legal and regulatory obligations, encompassing labor laws, health and safety standards, and industry-specific statutory provisions.
