Artemis Outsourcing Ltd, a multidisciplinary consulting firm with a regional focus, specializes in providing technical assistance in Human Resource Management. We are currently seeking an HR Officer to bolster our Human Resources department. This position involves overseeing daily HR functions, such as coordinating recruitment efforts and maintaining accurate employee records, to foster a seamless and positive employee experience.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project initiatives, foster innovation, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity and mitigate risks across all business functions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, cultivating a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth. Serve as a liaison between senior management and operational staff to facilitate transparent communication and alignment with strategic goals. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies while promoting ethical conduct and corporate responsibility.
We facilitate the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle by managing job postings, reviewing candidate applications, and organizing interview schedules.
Ensure the precise maintenance and timely updates of employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
Provide support in the facilitation of employee onboarding and separation processes.
Responsible for managing all HR-related correspondence, including letters and documentation, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and timely delivery.
Responsible for organizing staff training schedules and maintaining accurate attendance records.
Compile timesheet and leave data to assist in the preparation of payroll.
Address employee inquiries concerning human resources policies and procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
Help coordinate staff welfare and engagement initiatives to foster a positive and supportive workplace environment.
REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with one to three years of relevant experience in human resources or administrative support positions.
Proficient understanding of Kenyan labor legislation and human resources best practices is essential.
Expertise in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
Outstanding organizational abilities and strong communication proficiency are essential for this role, enabling effective coordination of tasks and seamless interaction with team members and stakeholders.
