POSITION SUMMARY
Generate and analyze room occupancy reports, confirm room statuses, identify discrepancies, and prioritize cleaning schedules while updating the status of departing guest rooms. Collaborate with Housekeeping leadership to streamline daily operations. Serve as a key point of communication to synchronize the workflows of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry teams. Address and document discrepancies in room statuses in coordination with the Front Desk. Compile and distribute room assignments to the Housekeeping team. Maintain and update the list of ‘Do Not Disturb’ rooms, ensuring timely cleaning of vacant dirty rooms and expediting priority assignments for rooms previously marked as ‘Do Not Disturb.’ Complete all required housekeeping documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
You will strictly comply with all established company policies, as well as safety and security protocols, and promptly report any maintenance issues, safety risks, accidents, or injuries. Additionally, you must complete required safety training and certifications. Maintain a polished and professional uniform and personal appearance, safeguard proprietary information, and preserve company assets. Greet and recognize all guests in accordance with company guidelines, proactively identify and address their service requirements, and express genuine gratitude upon their departure. Uphold high-quality standards in all duties performed. Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues, contribute to team objectives, and attentively address the concerns of fellow employees. Communicate with clarity and professionalism, both verbally and in written documentation, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness. Utilize computer systems to input and retrieve work-related data. Sustain prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking as needed. Handle, transport, or reposition objects weighing up to 10 pounds independently. Perform any additional reasonable job duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline. Additionally, candidates should possess two or more years of professional experience in software development, with a strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable. Experience with agile methodologies, version control systems, and DevOps practices is preferred. Strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
Hold a Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or a comparable discipline.
Minimum 1–2 years of direct housekeeping experience is required.
Experienced individuals in a hotel or upscale service setting, particularly in a four- or five-star establishment, are preferred.
