Position Overview
The Resort Supervisor holds primary responsibility for managing day-to-day activities within guest services, food and beverage operations, and recreational amenities. In this capacity, the position facilitates seamless collaboration between departments, upholds superior service benchmarks, and guarantees outstanding guest satisfaction.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to managing daily operations, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Lead strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and maintain high standards of quality across all projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement innovative solutions, and foster a culture of continuous growth and accountability. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and maintaining strong professional relationships. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, organizational guidelines, and ethical standards while promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
Oversee front desk activities to deliver exceptional guest experiences, address inquiries or issues promptly, and tailor service to meet individual preferences.
Leadership of the team: Provide guidance and encouragement to employees, organize work schedules, and facilitate professional development workshops.
Operations Oversight: Ensuring rigorous monitoring, diligent maintenance, and efficient food service delivery to uphold established quality standards.
Financial Management: Provide support in budget development, monitor expenditures, and enhance the efficient allocation of organizational resources.
Compliance & Safety: Uphold compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards to mitigate risks and ensure operational integrity.
Provide assistance in organizing and managing special events, conferences, and recreational activities from planning through execution.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required. At least three years of experience in a similar role is necessary. Proficiency in specific software or tools pertinent to the position is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are important for success in this role. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities is required. Familiarity with industry regulations and standards is beneficial.
A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related discipline is required.
Requires a minimum of two to five years of leadership experience within the hospitality or resort management sector.
Demonstrates exceptional leadership capabilities, fosters clear and effective communication, and excels in resolving complex challenges with innovative solutions.
Proficiency with both property management systems and hospitality software is required.
Must demonstrate adaptability to varying schedules, encompassing weekends and holidays, as required.
