To achieve established annual premium targets, the growth of the medical insurance business must be strategically cultivated.

Oversee and execute essential duties encompassing strategic planning, project management oversight, and cross-functional team leadership to drive organizational objectives forward. Ensure meticulous adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Collaborate with senior management to align initiatives with long-term business goals, monitor progress through key performance indicators, and implement data-driven improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

Proactively cultivate new business prospects across all existing channels, either independently or via third-party collaborators.

Deliver outstanding customer service to intermediaries and clients consistently.

Deliver exceptional service to all existing clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally while fostering long-term relationships to drive retention and satisfaction.

Monitor renewal processes for medical insurance accounts to ensure timely completion and adherence to established protocols.

Please forward the proposal forms and all Know Your Customer (KYC) documents to the underwriting department for processing.

Ensure premiums are collected punctually in adherence to the established credit control policy.

Compile weekly reports as mandated by BDM Corporate Health.

Perform preliminary underwriting evaluations in alignment with established criteria to confirm the viability of risk acceptance.

Handle all incoming customer and client inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring comprehensive and accurate responses to address their needs effectively.

As stipulated in the approved Delegated Authority Matrix, this position operates within defined delegated authority parameters.

Additionally, fulfill any other duties that may be assigned from time to time, as outlined in your Key Performance Measures.

Required are a robust understanding of and practical experience in the field, along with formal credentials demonstrating expertise in the discipline. Additionally, candidates must possess relevant hands-on experience and meet all specified qualifications to be considered for the position.

A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or a closely related business discipline is required.

A professional qualification in insurance, such as the ACID or INK, or ongoing progress toward obtaining one, is required.

Seeking professionals with three to five years of hands-on experience specifically within the insurance sector.
