THE ROLE

We seek a driven, commercially focused Head of Sales to spearhead revenue growth and expansion. This senior leadership position entails complete accountability for digital and commercial print sales, including strategic planning, team oversight of Account Executives, new business development, and direct management of key client relationships. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will also serve as an influential member of the leadership team.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership, to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions, streamline processes, and enhance overall productivity. Monitor performance metrics, identify key areas for improvement, and take decisive action to optimize workflows and maximize output. Serve as a primary liaison between senior management and departmental staff, facilitating clear communication and alignment with company goals. Additionally, provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth while upholding the highest standards of accountability and excellence.

Responsible for achieving and exceeding the organization’s annual revenue goals and expanding new business opportunities.

Direct reports include a team of Account Executives, whom you will lead, mentor, and develop by establishing KPIs and performing consistent performance assessments.

Craft and implement a comprehensive sales strategy encompassing digital print, commercial print, and emerging product lines such as HP Indigo digital printing.

I am responsible for the strategic oversight and expansion of a select portfolio comprising prominent corporate and institutional clients.

Prospect and nurture relationships with key segments, including corporates, agencies, publishers, NGOs, and SMEs, to expand the pipeline and drive revenue growth.

Collaborate efficiently with production and pre-press teams to precisely interpret client briefs and convert them into accurate deliverable specifications.

Compile and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly sales reports, projections, and pipeline analyses to the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer.

Formulate pricing strategies and ensure the quality of proposals for the AE team.

Conduct ongoing analysis of competitor actions and market developments, integrating these insights into the formulation of product and pricing strategies.

At industry events, client meetings, and trade forums, you will serve as the organization’s official representative, engaging with stakeholders and promoting its interests with professionalism and strategic insight.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Demonstrated ability to consistently surpass B2B sales objectives at an advanced professional level.

Experienced in directing and overseeing sales teams, with a proven track record in coaching and driving performance.

Demonstrated commercial expertise, including the ability to interpret profit and loss statements, analyze margin performance, and determine pricing strategies effectively.

Proven expertise in delivering impactful presentations, conducting strategic negotiations, and cultivating strong, long-term professional relationships.

Self-starter with a high-energy, solutions-focused approach.

Proficiency in print, packaging, media, or a comparable manufacturing or services sector is beneficial.

Proficiency in digital print technology is advantageous but not required, as comprehensive technical training will be provided.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline, with an MBA offering a significant advantage.
