About the People Operations Intern role

We seek an intern to join the Global People Operations team for the period of June through August 2026. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Performance Development segment of the Global People Operations team, contributing to critical organizational objectives such as onboarding processes, performance management strategies, employee engagement efforts, and cultural initiatives.

This internship offers a practical learning experience for individuals passionate about People Operations, organizational growth, and the systems that empower global teams to succeed. You’ll engage in both immediate operational tasks and strategic initiatives, developing insight into how a multinational organization creates and implements scalable people strategies.

As a highly accountable position, this role entails managing dedicated workstreams independently, proactively flagging any roadblocks, and driving initiatives that demand keen organizational acumen, sound decision-making, and meticulous execution.

Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational standards. Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance within the designated department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project initiatives, fostering innovation and delivering measurable results. Monitor progress through established metrics, adjusting approaches as needed to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing comprehensive onboarding programs, gathering and analyzing employee feedback to enhance satisfaction, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth integration into the company culture. You will also serve as a key point of contact for new employees, addressing their questions and concerns while fostering a sense of belonging from day one. Additionally, you will track engagement metrics, identify trends, and recommend strategies to improve retention and overall employee experience.

Support the seamless integration of new team members through onboarding coordination and pre-onboarding preparations, ensuring they transition smoothly into ID insight.

Maintain and enhance onboarding resources, presentations, learning materials, and internal systems to ensure they remain current, effective, and user-friendly. Regularly review and update these materials to align with evolving company policies, procedures, and best practices, thereby facilitating a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new employees.

Collect and analyze feedback during the onboarding process to pinpoint areas where enhancements can be made, ensuring a seamless and effective integration for new employees.

We are responsible for enhancing performance management and optimizing people processes within the organization. This role involves designing and implementing strategies that align employee performance with company objectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include developing performance metrics, conducting reviews, and identifying training needs. Additionally, we oversee talent development initiatives, succession planning, and employee engagement programs to ensure a motivated and high-performing workforce. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices are essential for success in this position.

Facilitate the implementation of comprehensive, organization-wide growth cycle initiatives to ensure seamless operational execution.

Provide support in monitoring, documenting, and evaluating data pertaining to performance evaluations and employee transitions.

Operational coordination support will be provided for activities including promotions, employee transitions, and post-review cycle follow-up actions.

Assist in the creation and enhancement of internal resources, communications, and training materials, specifically designed for programs and processes related to people management.

Provide research, coordination, and project management assistance to support dynamic People Operations initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ is mandatory, along with experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are necessary. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also required. Prior experience in software development, system design, or data analysis is preferred.

Currently pursuing or having recently earned a degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, International Development, Social Sciences, or a comparable discipline.

Exceptional organizational abilities and expertise in project coordination are essential, coupled with a proven capacity to handle multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.

Proficient written communication abilities and a natural ease in collaborating professionally with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels within a multinational organization are essential.

Proficient in utilizing spreadsheets, presentations, and collaborative tools—particularly Google Workspace—as well as demonstrating adaptability to rapidly master new systems.

Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and excels in overseeing operational processes with precision and reliability.

Individuals with a passion for enhancing workforce dynamics, improving employee engagement, or fostering organizational growth and culture will find this role compelling. A background in human resources, talent management, or related fields is highly advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential.
