Ensuring Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (DESI) principles and disability inclusion are integrated into all project activities and processes.
Formulate and implement comprehensive inclusion strategies, action plans, and applicable tools to foster a diverse and equitable environment.
Provide instructional and capacity-enhancing training programs for employees and key stakeholders.
Collaborate on the creation of monitoring frameworks that prioritize gender and disability sensitivity.
Develop comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations to enhance inclusive programming efforts.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology, and at least three years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, and SQL, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required. Additionally, familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
A bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Development, Sociology, Disability Studies, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline is required.
Demonstrated expertise in Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (DESI) initiatives, as well as disability inclusion practices, is essential for this role.
Conducted comprehensive assessments, led inclusive training sessions, and crafted strategic inclusion initiatives to foster equitable environments and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Robust analytical capabilities, adept stakeholder engagement, and exceptional report-writing proficiency are essential.
