Integrate Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (DESI) principles, as well as disability inclusion, systematically into project activities and processes.
Design and implement comprehensive inclusion strategies, action plans, and practical tools to foster an equitable and accessible environment.
Facilitate training and capacity-building initiatives for staff and stakeholders to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Develop monitoring frameworks with consideration for gender and disability sensitivity.
Develop comprehensive reports and strategic recommendations aimed at enhancing inclusive programming efforts.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with at least five years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ is essential, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a team are also required. Additionally, experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices is preferred.
A degree in Gender Studies, Social Development, Sociology, Disability Studies, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline is required.
Demonstrated expertise in Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (DESI), with a focus on disability-inclusive practices.
Proven expertise in executing assessments, delivering instructional training sessions, and designing comprehensive inclusion initiatives.
Analytical proficiency, stakeholder management, and the ability to produce clear, structured reports are essential.
Candidates with prior involvement in donor-funded or development initiatives will be strongly preferred.
