General Position Summary

The Project Officer will facilitate the smooth execution of the Future Fit Project, ensuring the successful delivery of high-caliber project initiatives in digital skills, green skills (particularly e-mobility), youth entrepreneurship, and employment. This position will deliver operational, logistical, and technical assistance to guarantee timely completion of project deliverables while adhering to donor, partner, and organizational specifications.

This role seeks an independent, analytical professional with a forward-thinking mindset and a strong attention to detail. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to seamlessly integrate project assistance with administrative responsibilities.

This position is located in Nairobi, Kenya, with an expected travel requirement of up to 30% of the time to various field locations.

Conducts systematic monitoring and evaluation of programs, projects, and initiatives to assess performance, track progress, and ensure accountability. Collaborates with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish measurement frameworks. Ensures compliance with reporting standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality. Partner with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist to design monitoring tools and measure impact outcomes systematically.

Support the ongoing oversight of project activities, deliverables, and metrics in alignment with the established Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) framework.

Your role involves gathering, structuring, and verifying both quantitative and qualitative data from collaborators, external service providers, and end-users to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Compile data required for the compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports.

Document learning experiences, capture success stories, and document effective practices resulting from implementation efforts.
