Integrate Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (DESI) principles, as well as disability inclusion, into all project activities and operational processes to ensure equitable participation and outcomes.
Design, implement, and evaluate inclusion strategies, action plans, and practical tools to foster a more equitable and welcoming environment.
Provide instructional and skills-enhancement training sessions to staff members and key stakeholders.
Assist in the creation of monitoring frameworks that are attentive to gender and disability considerations.
Develop comprehensive reports and strategic recommendations aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of inclusive programming initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development or a related role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in software design patterns and algorithms. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments are also necessary. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and familiarity with DevOps practices is preferred. Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders are required, along with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Applicants must possess a degree in Gender Studies, Social Development, Sociology, Disability Studies, Development Studies, or an equivalent field.
Demonstrated expertise in Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (DESI) principles, with a strong focus on disability inclusion.
