Role Description
This full-time position requires an on-site Professional Restaurant Waitress at Jumbo Ruins Monsoon in Mombasa County, Kenya. The Waitress will deliver outstanding customer service, process orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Other duties involve maintaining a sanitary service area, supporting food preparation and presentation, and resolving customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience. Proficiency in GAAP standards and exceptional analytical skills are essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication abilities and be adept at using accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP. Certification as a CPA or CMA is preferred but not mandatory. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, organizational prowess, and the capacity to meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with tax preparation and financial reporting is also necessary.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential, with a clear focus on delivering exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Professional candidates should possess a proven track record in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, demonstrating hands-on expertise and operational efficiency in these domains.
Professional experience in food preparation is advantageous, as are foundational culinary competencies.
Proven capacity to thrive in high-pressure, rapidly evolving work settings with strong adaptability and composure under tight deadlines.
