Promptly and efficiently, wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans, and all kitchen equipment.
Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen floors, walls, workstations, storage areas, and food preparation surfaces at all times while adhering to health and safety standards.
Responsible for maintaining the proper handling, storage, and organization of all kitchen equipment and supplies to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
Provide essential assistance to chefs and kitchen personnel with foundational food prep and operational tasks as needed.
Dispose of waste materials in accordance with established hygiene and safety protocols to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of garbage collection areas at all times.
Consistently replenish cleaning supplies and promptly inform supervisors when stock levels are running low to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment.
Adhere strictly to all food safety, health, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols.
Provide support in upholding cleanliness standards for conferences, banquets, and other large-scale events.
Maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation standards in accordance with five-star hospitality protocols.
Address all cleaning requests from the kitchen and food & beverage teams without delay, ensuring swift and efficient responses.
Facilitate scheduled deep cleaning initiatives and perform ongoing kitchen upkeep tasks to ensure optimal cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Requirements
A hospitality diploma or certificate serves as a foundational credential for this role.
A degree or certification in Food Production, Hospitality, or a closely related discipline is highly desirable.
A minimum of one to two years of hands-on experience as a Kitchen Steward in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is essential.
Preferred candidates possess substantial experience in high-volume or luxury hospitality environments.
Proficiency in food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and hygiene regulations is required.
Proficient in the safe handling and application of cleaning chemicals and equipment is required.
Capable of maintaining physical fitness and enduring prolonged periods of standing.
