This position functions as an individual contributor within the FOR (Employer of Record) Operations team, serving as a vital extension of clients’ HR departments. Tasked with guiding and advising on the complexities of global employment, team members in this role deliver solutions with exceptional efficiency, deep industry knowledge, and meticulous accuracy across more than 90 countries worldwide.

As a member of this team, your contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping both our customers’ benefits journey and the overall employee experience. In this dynamic role, you will cultivate your expertise as an international Benefits Specialist, fostering both personal and professional growth.

You will report directly to the Benefits Operations Manager.

Deliver exceptional assistance to employees and clients regarding benefits across various domains.

Key components of benefits plans encompass critical elements such as pricing structures, scope of coverage, and claims handling processes.

The enrollment and termination processes for benefits plans are managed as part of the responsibilities associated with this role.

Benefits invoicing and billing involves the preparation, review, and management of invoices related to employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to verify data integrity, reconcile discrepancies, and adhere to regulatory compliance standards. Responsibilities include generating invoices, processing payments, maintaining records, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing inquiries. Strong proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of benefits administration are essential for success in this position.

Perform data-related tasks, including preparation, entry, and download, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

Assist in developing, refining, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across operations.

Collaborate efficiently with the Benefits team and other departments across Remote to assess customer requirements and implement solutions that enhance satisfaction and overall experience.

Capable of delivering analytical, administrative, and technical assistance to sustain the benefits programs, thereby ensuring the seamless execution of plans and policies.

Responsible for maintaining up-to-date operations process documentation while identifying opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Continuously investigate and methodically extract key insights from written materials within Notion.

Able to transition seamlessly from initial exploration to full-scale execution, driving initiatives forward with decisive action and tangible results.

Serve as both an internal and external advocate for Remote’s values and the strategic objectives of the Benefits team.

Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to drive organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives with business goals while fostering innovation and problem-solving. Monitor progress through regular assessments, data analysis, and feedback mechanisms to optimize workflows and enhance productivity. Serve as a liaison between departments, senior management, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and decision-making. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, quality standards, and ethical practices while maintaining a focus on sustainability and long-term growth.

Professional candidates should possess a strong background in Human Resources Operations, with a specific focus on Employee Benefits administration—particularly within the framework of Professional Employer Organization (PEO) services.
