Key duties associated with this position encompass the following:

Monitor each child’s development and submit detailed written evaluations to the Principal via designated line managers, school leadership, and parents.

Regularly document and track the children’s developmental milestones and progress through detailed reports and records.

Provide individualized and group-based instruction, tailoring educational approaches to accommodate students’ diverse needs and interests.

Welcome incoming students by warmly greeting them upon arrival and then introducing engaging activities tailored to their interests.

To develop and implement clear guidelines for student conduct, as well as comprehensive policies and procedures, ensuring an organized and disciplined learning environment.

To sustain and enhance professional proficiency, regularly participated in professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.

Provide support for daily operational tasks, including facilitating nap time, assisting with bus loading and unloading, serving and supervising meals, managing bathroom breaks, organizing playtime, and coordinating parent drop-off and pick-up activities.

Maintain and regularly update professional records, including work covered, progress documentation, rubrics, and student portfolios.

Oversee after-school clubs, either those of particular interest or as designated by assignment.

Engage actively in fostering character development and maintaining positive behavioral standards among individuals.

Music Coach responsibilities encompass a diverse range of duties tailored to nurturing musical talent and fostering skill development. This role involves providing personalized instruction in techniques, music theory, and performance practices while offering constructive feedback to refine students’ abilities. Additionally, the coach collaborates with individuals or groups to prepare for recitals, competitions, or examinations, ensuring they meet artistic and technical standards. Responsibilities may also include recommending repertoire, organizing practice schedules, and monitoring progress to achieve measurable improvements. Strong communication skills and a deep understanding of musical fundamentals are essential for effectively guiding learners toward their goals.

Deliver music instruction in alignment with the Nova Pioneer Instructional Model, ensuring full compliance with established requirements.

Supervise and manage all music-related initiatives and projects within the school curriculum to ensure alignment with educational goals and standards.

Develop comprehensive lesson plans and Scheme of Work documents specifically tailored for Music lessons.

Deliver one-on-one instruction sessions, each lasting 30 to 45 minutes, that integrate foundational musicianship skills—including ear training and music theory—along with instrumental technique and interpretive analysis.

Collaborate with Learning Design and Music Specialists across other NP Primary School campuses to ensure consistency and coherence in Music instruction and learning objectives.

Develop and establish appropriate themes for school musical activities and programs to align with educational objectives and student engagement.

Develop customized lesson plans and comprehensive Schemes of Work tailored to the needs of enrolled students.

Organize lesson plans and register students for upcoming examinations.

About You

Skills and experience required for this position include a minimum of five years in a senior-level role within a related field, along with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication proficiency, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory, while an advanced degree is strongly preferred. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is essential, and familiarity with regulatory compliance standards is highly desirable. Additionally, demonstrated leadership in driving operational efficiency and fostering a collaborative work environment is required.

Certification in TSC along with a formal academic qualification in Music is required.
