Oversee a range of critical duties to ensure operational excellence, including managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and implementing process improvements. You will be tasked with analyzing performance metrics to identify trends, developing strategic plans to enhance productivity, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, responsibilities involve fostering collaboration among stakeholders, resolving conflicts, and presenting detailed reports to senior leadership. The position involves performing a variety of routine tasks and key responsibilities as outlined below. Deliver technical assistance for hospital electrical systems and associated equipment, encompassing both routine and emergency maintenance tasks as directed, to ensure optimal operational performance and reliability.

Record all electrical activities and test results in compliance with established departmental guidelines and procedures.

Respond to user departments’ Breakdown Maintenance (BDM) requests in accordance with established policies without delay.

Comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks for electrical systems and related equipment must be executed promptly to ensure operational efficiency.

Act as the intermediary between user departments and maintenance teams, escalating any arising issues to the supervisor for resolution.

The role involves performing recurring tasks and responsibilities on a regular basis.

Coordinate and lead special project initiatives, including the acquisition and planning of new systems and equipment, as well as the formulation of detailed bid specifications, as needed.

Create Preventative Maintenance schedules and guidelines in collaboration with the electrical supervisor.

Design and deliver tailored safety protocols and specialized in-service training programs for technicians and equipment operators, ensuring adherence to device-specific guidelines as required.

Conduct incident investigations and analyze system and equipment performance as needed.

Prepare or evaluate emergency and safety protocols concerning the utilization and operation of electrical systems and equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is essential. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are required to effectively engage with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes is a plus.

Earned an Electrical Engineering diploma with a specialization in power systems, or possess an equivalent qualification.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role.

Proficiency in computer applications will be considered an asset.

Proficient in the technical operation and maintenance of high-voltage/low-voltage distribution systems, switchgear, and control systems, as well as diesel generators, steam boilers, laundry facilities, and kitchen equipment.

You demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication skills with a strong emphasis on integrity and reliability. Additionally, you possess highly developed analytical and organizational capabilities.
