Deliver technical assistance for the hospital’s electrical systems and equipment, as directed, encompassing both planned and emergency maintenance tasks.

Record all electrical activities and test results in compliance with established departmental procedures and guidelines.

Respond immediately to Breakdown Maintenance (BDM) requests submitted by user departments, adhering strictly to established policies.

Accomplish Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures for electrical systems and equipment in a prompt and efficient manner.

Act as a point of contact between user departments and oversee maintenance activities, promptly escalating any arising issues to the supervisor for resolution.

The role involves performing recurring tasks and responsibilities on a regular basis.

Coordinate and/or take part in initiatives for special projects, including planning the acquisition of new systems or equipment, as well as drafting bid specifications.

Create and implement Preventive Maintenance schedules and guidelines in collaboration with the electrical supervisor.

Develop and implement comprehensive safety protocols and specialized in-service training programs tailored to equipment and systems, ensuring all technicians and users are fully informed and competent in their operations.

Conduct incident investigations and analyze system and equipment performance as necessary.

Create or evaluate emergency and safety protocols associated with the utilization and operation of electrical systems and equipment.

The necessary qualifications for this role include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with at least three years of experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, as is a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) are also required. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and strong communication abilities.

A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power systems, or an equivalent qualification, is required.

A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role is required.

Proficiency in computer applications will be considered advantageous.

Proficient in the technical operation and maintenance of high-voltage/low-voltage distribution systems, switchgear and control panels, diesel generators, steam boilers, laundry equipment, and kitchen facilities.

Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal communication abilities, unwavering integrity, and consistent reliability, complemented by strong analytical and organizational competencies.

The capacity to successfully navigate and surpass performance obstacles is required.
