Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, project management, and team leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and performance targets. Conducts routine tasks and fulfills ongoing obligations as part of the position’s core functions. Handles day-to-day operations to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to established protocols. Offer expert technical assistance for all hospital electrical systems and equipment as designated, encompassing both planned and emergency maintenance tasks.

Record all electrical activities and test results in compliance with established departmental protocols.

Respond immediately to maintenance requests related to system or equipment failures submitted by user departments, following established procedures.

Proactively execute Preventive Maintenance (PPM) for electrical systems and equipment in a timely manner to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Act as the intermediary between user departments and maintenance teams, addressing operational concerns and promptly escalating any arising issues to the supervisor for resolution.

Oversee and perform routine tasks essential to the role, ensuring precision and consistency in execution. Manage and maintain accurate records, files, and documentation to support operational efficiency. Conduct periodic reviews and assessments to verify compliance with established protocols and standards. Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and address any discrepancies promptly. Stay informed about industry best practices and implement improvements as necessary to enhance productivity and accountability.

We are seeking a proactive professional to lead or contribute to specialized initiatives, including the strategic planning for the procurement of new systems or equipment, as well as the creation and refinement of detailed bid specifications.

Prepare and implement Preventative Maintenance schedules and guidelines in collaboration with the electrical supervisor.

To deliver safety systems and equipment-specific in-service training to technicians and equipment operators as required, develop comprehensive educational programs and instructional materials tailored to various devices.

Conduct incident investigations and evaluate system and equipment performance as needed.

Prepare or evaluate emergency and safety protocols for electrical systems and equipment usage and operation.

Candidates must meet the following criteria: a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a related field, a bachelor’s degree in a pertinent discipline, and proficiency in industry-standard software tools. Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills are essential. The ideal applicant will also possess a track record of delivering measurable results in fast-paced environments and a commitment to continuous professional development. Familiarity with compliance regulations and regulatory standards relevant to the role is required, along with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively as needed.

Earned a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power systems or possess equivalent academic credentials.

A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is required for this role.

Proficiency in computer systems represents an additional asset for this position.

Proficient in the technical operation and maintenance of high-voltage/low-voltage distribution systems, switchgear, and control circuits, as well as diesel generators, steam boilers, laundry equipment, and kitchen appliances.

Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal communication abilities, consistently exhibits high ethical standards, maintains unwavering reliability, and possesses strong analytical and organizational capabilities.

Demonstrates resilience in addressing and conquering obstacles that impede performance.

Strong enthusiasm for continuous learning and knowledge sharing is required.
