Manages and performs a range of routine duties essential to the role. Responsible for executing key tasks with precision and efficiency to support operational goals. Handles day-to-day assignments in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Ensures adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements throughout all activities. Assists team members in meeting deadlines and achieving performance targets. Maintains accurate records and documentation as required by the position. Deliver technical assistance for all hospital electrical systems and equipment in accordance with assigned duties, encompassing both planned maintenance activities and emergency troubleshooting as required.

Accurately record all electrical activities and corresponding test outcomes in compliance with established departmental guidelines.

Swiftly address system and equipment Breakdown Maintenance (BDM) requests submitted by user departments, adhering to established guidelines.

Proactively perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on all electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.

Act as an intermediary with user departments to facilitate maintenance tasks and promptly escalate any arising issues to the supervisor for resolution.

The position involves regular duties and responsibilities that must be performed consistently to ensure operational efficiency and support organizational goals. Key tasks include managing daily workflows, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with team members, and adhering to established procedures. Additionally, the role requires adherence to deadlines, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding company standards and policies.

Coordinate and/or contribute to the execution of special projects, including the planning of new systems or equipment acquisitions, as well as the creation of detailed bid specifications.

Formulate Preventative Maintenance schedules and guidelines in collaboration with the electrical supervisor.

Develop and deliver safety systems and specialized in-service training programs for technicians and equipment operators, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and operational protocols.

Conduct incident investigations and analyze system and equipment performance as needed.

Prepare or evaluate emergency and safety protocols concerning the utilization and functioning of electrical systems and equipment.

Requirements:

Holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems or equivalent academic credentials.

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a comparable role is required.

Proficiency in computer applications will be considered a beneficial asset.

Skilled in the technical operation and upkeep of high-voltage and low-voltage distribution systems, switchgear, control systems, diesel generators, steam boilers, laundry facilities, and kitchen equipment.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, coupled with unwavering integrity and reliability, along with exceptional analytical and organizational capabilities.

Capable of surpassing performance obstacles and consistently delivering results despite challenges.

Demonstrates enthusiasm for continuous learning and actively shares knowledge with others.
