The primary objective of this position is to oversee and execute key operational tasks to ensure the organization’s objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively. Facilitating student success and fostering academic excellence, this role involves empowering learners to realize their full potential by delivering the SABIS curriculum and upholding its guiding philosophy. This is achieved through the consistent application of the SABIS teaching methodology, ensuring an effective and structured learning experience.

Oversee and execute critical operational duties to ensure seamless business continuity, including managing daily workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and productivity. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive performance improvements, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making. Serve as a liaison between departments to foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and align objectives with company goals. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accountability.

Using the supplied lesson plans, educators will deliver instruction for their assigned subject(s), with the potential need to design such plans based on the provided pacing charts as necessary. This requires proficiency in teaching according to the structured SABIS point system.

Exams are to be graded in alignment with the department’s established schedule and curriculum materials.

Facilitating discussions regarding disciplinary matters and student performance with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD) as required.

The introduction of the SABIS point system is designed to foster an optimal learning environment within the classroom setting.

Delivering dependable assistance by proctoring exams as required while ensuring a secure and well-organized testing environment.

Offering academic assistance to underperforming students, we aim to enhance their performance, foster motivation, and empower them to realize their full potential.

Develop and implement external exam preparation by reviewing past papers, in accordance with the structured revision schedule where applicable to specific grade levels.

Assisting with various tasks such as administering student assessments, stepping in to teach classes in the absence of regular instructors, coordinating student movements for lunch periods and bus departures, managing traffic flow for both vehicles and pedestrians, as well as performing any additional administrative responsibilities delegated by SABIS school management.

Developing and engaging in activity plans for various student life events—including, but not limited to, art, open house, and physical education initiatives—in collaboration with the student life coordinator.

Attendees must participate in training sessions as requested by school management to deepen their comprehension of the SABIS system and elevate their performance standards.

Additionally, the incumbent may be assigned other relevant duties or projects as they emerge, in accordance with the directives provided by the school’s SABIS leadership.

Highly preferred candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additional desirable qualifications include project management certifications, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and prior leadership experience. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent qualification is required.

As a fluent French speaker, you will be expected to demonstrate exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken French. This role requires a deep understanding of French grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances, ensuring clear and effective communication in all interactions. You will serve as a key liaison in French-speaking environments, facilitating seamless collaboration and understanding with colleagues, clients, or stakeholders. Additionally, you may be tasked with translating documents, interpreting conversations, or providing linguistic support to ensure accuracy and consistency in communication.

A PGCE Certification or an MA in Education is required to be considered for this position.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential for this role. Candidates must demonstrate a strong command of these applications to efficiently create, edit, and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Effective interpersonal and written communication abilities are essential to excel in this role. You must articulate ideas clearly, engage in active listening, and adapt your communication style to diverse audiences. Proficiency in both verbal and written English is required, along with the capacity to convey complex information in a concise and accessible manner. Strong presentation skills and the ability to foster collaboration through clear dialogue are also critical.
