Position Summary

We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Field Sales Representative to spearhead product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position entails cultivating robust client relationships, showcasing high-end offerings to medical facilities and dental practitioners, and fostering engagement with dental professionals to enhance sales performance within the dental supplies sector.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, including the management of daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to established protocols. Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, optimizing workflows, and fostering innovation within the team. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align objectives, streamline communication, and drive cohesive project execution. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and ensure the achievement of organizational goals. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies to uphold operational integrity. Additionally, provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and a culture of continuous improvement.

Position dental equipment, instruments, and consumables within dental clinics, hospitals, and healthcare facilities through proactive promotion and sales initiatives.

Leverage field visits, referrals, and industry events as channels to uncover and cultivate new business prospects.

Foster enduring professional connections with dental practitioners and critical stakeholders to ensure collaborative partnerships.

Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure clients gain a thorough understanding of proper usage, key benefits, and ongoing maintenance requirements.

Track competitor actions, pricing strategies, and new developments within the dental supplies’ industry, and compile detailed reports on these observations.

Partner with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to guarantee on-time deliveries and deliver outstanding client experiences.

Consistently surpass monthly and quarterly sales objectives to drive revenue growth and meet organizational goals.

Maintain precise documentation of sales activities, customer engagements, and market intelligence to ensure comprehensive and reliable records.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required for this position. A minimum of five years of professional experience in software development is essential, with expertise in Python, Java, or C++ being particularly advantageous. Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role is highly valued. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills are necessary for success in this role.

A degree or diploma from an accredited institution in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a closely related discipline is required.

A minimum of three years of demonstrated sales expertise within the dental or medical supplies sector is required.

A solid understanding of dental equipment and products would be advantageous.

Exceptional proficiency in delivering presentations, conducting negotiations, and fostering strong interpersonal relationships is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is essential.

A strong willingness and ability to undertake frequent travel across the designated territory are required.
