Position Summary

A highly organized and proactive Field Sales Representative is being sought to spearhead product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position will focus on cultivating enduring client connections, advocating premium offerings to clinics and hospitals, and actively engaging dental professionals to enhance sales within the dental supplies sector.

This position entails overseeing key operational duties, ensuring seamless workflows and adherence to established protocols. Among the critical tasks are managing team performance, fostering collaboration, and driving productivity through strategic planning and resource allocation. Responsibilities also include monitoring project progress, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective measures to meet organizational objectives. Additionally, the role requires maintaining open lines of communication with stakeholders, providing timely updates, and aligning activities with company policies and industry standards.

Facilitate the marketing and distribution of a comprehensive portfolio of dental equipment, instruments, and consumables to dental practices, medical institutions, and healthcare providers.

Through proactive field visits, strategic referrals, and participation in industry events, the role involves identifying and cultivating fresh business opportunities to drive growth and expand market reach.

Foster enduring professional connections with dental professionals and pivotal stakeholders to ensure sustained collaboration and mutual growth.

Perform product demonstrations and lead training sessions to ensure clients gain a comprehensive understanding of proper usage, key benefits, and maintenance requirements.

Track and analyze competitor actions, pricing strategies, and developing trends within the dental supplies’ industry, then prepare and submit detailed reports on these findings.

Work collaboratively with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to guarantee on-time deliveries and deliver outstanding client service.

Consistently surpass monthly and quarterly sales objectives by leveraging strategic approaches and proactive outreach.

Accurately document sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends to ensure precise record-keeping.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, supplemented by at least three years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a corporate or governmental setting. The ideal applicant will demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies, data analysis, and strategic planning, alongside exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, as well as a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, is essential. Strong problem-solving aptitude and a commitment to continuous learning are also required.

A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is required.

Minimum three years of demonstrated sales expertise within the dental or medical supplies sector is essential.

A comprehensive understanding of dental equipment and products is strongly preferred.

Proven expertise in delivering compelling presentations, negotiating effectively, and fostering strong interpersonal relationships.

Demonstrates strong competency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Must be prepared to undertake extensive travel across the designated region as part of the role’s responsibilities.
