Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of assigned duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. As the initial liaison for admissions, the role involves engaging with patients to facilitate thorough clerking, ensuring precise and timely diagnosis, and initiating appropriate management strategies—all under the guidance of Medical Officers, Senior Registrars, or Consultants.

Participating in daily ward rounds, the incumbent will document and implement management plans while providing consultants with updates on patient progress to ensure comprehensive monitoring and care.

The candidate will develop proficiency in surgical and obstetric techniques as outlined in the KMPDC logbook and guidelines, gaining comprehensive insight into preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.

You will execute the clinical protocols essential for patient care in accordance with JCI, Kaiden, and additional quality standards.

To advance professional knowledge and skills, engagement in Continuous Professional Development initiatives is required, including attendance and active participation in Continuing Medical Education (CME) events and journal club presentations. This commitment fosters self-directed learning and facilitates the acquisition of fundamental research principles.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, as is the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are required. Familiarity with project management methodologies and compliance standards is preferred. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders effectively.

A Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized and accredited medical institution is required.

Applicants must possess a current and valid internship practicing license issued by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).

A thorough knowledge of safety protocols is essential.

Proficiency in computer systems is a fundamental requirement for this role.
