To achieve predetermined annual premium targets, the role involves expanding the medical insurance business effectively. This requires strategic planning and execution to ensure consistent growth and meet established financial objectives.

Oversee key responsibilities that include managing project timelines and ensuring adherence to deadlines, coordinating cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency, and conducting thorough reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables. Additionally, the role demands active participation in strategic planning sessions to align initiatives with organizational goals, fostering collaboration to drive innovation and problem-solving. Develop and secure new business opportunities, either independently or through intermediary channels, across all available business sectors.

Consistently deliver outstanding customer service to both intermediaries and clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Duties include supporting and maintaining current business operations to ensure seamless functionality and sustained growth. Focus is placed on delivering consistent, high-quality service to meet client needs and uphold organizational standards. Collaborative efforts with internal teams are essential to address ongoing requirements and optimize operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include monitoring and managing the renewal process for medical insurance policies to ensure timely completion and adherence to company standards.

Forward all proposal forms and KYC documentation to the underwriting department for processing.

Secure premium payments promptly in strict accordance with the established credit control policy.

Compile weekly reports as mandated by the Corporate Health department of BDM.

Perform preliminary underwriting evaluations in strict adherence to established guidelines, thereby ensuring the responsible acceptance of risk.

Handle all incoming customer and client inquiries promptly and professionally.

As stipulated within the Delegated Authority Matrix, authority is assigned accordingly.

Execute additional responsibilities as assigned from time to time, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational needs.

A solid foundation in relevant expertise, hands-on experience, and the necessary qualifications are essential requirements for this role. Candidates must possess a proven track record in the specified field, complemented by a strong educational background and any industry-recognized certifications. Additionally, familiarity with key tools, methodologies, or frameworks pertinent to the position is mandatory.

A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or a closely related business discipline is required.

A recognized professional qualification in Insurance, such as ACID or INK, or an ongoing commitment to achieving these qualifications, is required.

Experienced professionals with 3 to 5 years of practical involvement in the insurance sector are encouraged to apply.
