Mission

The Contract Management & Liaison team functions as the primary point of contact between Member Associations (MA’s) and the International Development Support (IDS) units. This team oversees the entire support delivery process, encompassing planning, contract execution, delivery coordination, and follow-up activities. It translates MA-initiated demands into well-defined support requests, establishes funding agreements, and aligns capacity with needs. By maintaining a comprehensive perspective on MA engagements, the team fosters seamless coordination across support areas and ensures consistent relationship management. The objective is to deliver timely, cohesive, and impactful support to MA’s while facilitating streamlined planning, adherence to governance and compliance standards, and transparent reporting. The Head of the Contract Management & Liaison (CML) Unit is responsible for providing strategic leadership, governance, and coordination of contractual engagements with IDS across the federation. This position oversees the federation-wide coordination of strategic support and service agreements, cooperation frameworks, externally funded initiatives, and operational partnership mechanisms involving IDS, Member Associations (MA’s), Promoting & Supporting Associations (SAS), donors, and internal functions.

This role oversees the comprehensive IDS engagement, encompassing Member Association liaison frameworks, coordinated support planning, demand capture initiatives, strategic portfolio supervision, governance structures, operational escalation protocols, and digital contract management systems.

This role serves as a key liaison and relationship manager within IDS, aligning federation objectives, IDS priorities, contractual obligations, operational execution, financial viability, and stakeholder engagement.
