Position Scope:

The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing and enforcing measures to uphold the established compliance framework and procedures, thereby reducing the risk of financial and operational losses associated with policy and procedural deviations.

Oversee and execute key operational duties to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to organizational standards. Manage critical tasks that drive efficiency and support strategic objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts and achieve collective goals. Maintain rigorous compliance with policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Monitor performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Facilitate clear communication channels to enhance transparency and accountability across all levels of the organization.

Formulate and oversee the Bank’s framework for regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and supervisory standards while providing strategic direction to mitigate compliance risks.

Assess recently proposed regulatory actions to evaluate their potential implications for company operations.

Monitor and assess existing as well as upcoming modifications to legislative and regulatory frameworks that impact the Bank’s operational activities or long-term strategic objectives, promptly communicating pertinent updates to relevant business units to ensure alignment and preparedness.

Remains current with evolving industry standards and regulatory requirements—both locally and internationally—and proactively identifies opportunities to enhance internal company processes, recommending and executing necessary modifications.

Responsible for evaluating regulatory submissions to ensure they meet all relevant compliance standards and adhere to established deadlines.

Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and deliver strategic guidance derived from data-driven intelligence analysis.

Conduct thorough assessments of both established and emerging compliance risks and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Conduct comprehensive intelligence evaluations regarding regulatory matters to inform the development of strategic solutions, policies, and programs.

Coordinate the organization-wide oversight of regulatory compliance by utilizing the Rule-Book framework, ensuring adherence to all applicable banking regulations and standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing and enhancing the Bank’s corporate governance code and ensuring the compliance framework remains current and effective.

Develop and regularly assess and revise Standards of Conduct to maintain their currency and relevance, ensuring they continue to provide effective guidance to both management and employees.

Guarantee adherence to corporate governance codes and standards to maintain compliance.

To formulate recommendations for policy and procedure enhancements in corporate governance, with a focus on improving governance frameworks within the organization.

Develop and facilitate a variety of corporate governance training programs for the Bank.

Deliver expert, responsive compliance advisory services at the front line to the business unit, ensuring a consistent approach to all related matters.

Collaborate closely with the product compliance team to finalize new product developments, establish comprehensive policies, and approve proposition sign-offs.

Assists with crafting the compliance training calendar by integrating findings from compliance risk evaluations.

Collaborate closely with Compliance Advisory on all new product approval processes.

Formulate and spearhead the Bank’s Exception Management strategy, ensuring its effective implementation and ongoing leadership.

Track and document exceptions across the institution, analyzing trends to identify recurring issues, and ensure timely closure of all identified discrepancies with comprehensive reporting.

Analyze regulatory exceptions to assess their suitability for regularization and closure.

Coordinate the comprehensive monitoring of exception logs across the bank and facilitate timely regularization to maintain operational adherence.
