As a Drilling TRS Crew Member, you will play a pivotal role in rig operations, directly contributing to critical tubular running activities essential for well construction. Your responsibilities will include operating mechanical and hydraulic TRS equipment, supporting rig up and rig down procedures, and maintaining rigorous safety standards when handling casing, tubing, and associated tools.

As a Drilling TRS Crew Member, your duties will include performing a wide range of operational tasks essential to drilling operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining equipment functionality. You will collaborate closely with the drilling team to execute well site activities, monitor drilling parameters, and address any anomalies promptly. Additionally, you will assist in the inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of drilling equipment to uphold operational efficiency and reliability. Participation in pre- and post-job safety meetings, along with adherence to established procedures, will be mandatory to mitigate risks and promote a secure work environment.

Skilled operation of TRS equipment, including power tongs, elevators, slips, spiders, torque-turn systems, and hydraulic power units, is performed with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism.

Assist in the assembly and disassembly of TRS equipment, such as stabbing boards, power units, and tubular handling tools.

Ensuring seamless and secure operations requires clear, consistent communication with the drill floor operator, clients, and subcontracted personnel.

Conducting routine troubleshooting, inspections, and minor maintenance tasks on TRS equipment prior to, during, and following operational activities.

Responsible for maintaining adherence to all safety protocols, participating in rig safety briefings, and promptly escalating any hazards or operational concerns.

The incumbent will prepare job documentation, compile activity reports, and assist with operational tasks as directed by the Operations Coordinator.

To excel in this position, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

Possesses a broad understanding of the oil and gas sector, with prior experience in TRS or drilling-related field operations being highly advantageous.

Demonstrate a robust mechanical aptitude alongside the proficiency to safely and accurately operate mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.

Capable of collaborating and engaging with rig crews, supervisors, and clients under demanding or high-stakes conditions with clarity and professionalism.

Candidates should possess either a two-year technical degree or an equivalent blend of technical education and hands-on field experience.

Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous adherence to established procedures, coupled with a keen aptitude for equipment inspection and maintaining operational readiness.

Capable of traveling for both onshore and offshore assignments while accommodating variable schedules, including on-call and shift-based operations.
