Provide clients with expert guidance regarding the legal procedures associated with property transactions, including both acquisitions and dispositions.

Perform comprehensive due diligence reviews on conveyancing transactions, draft precise sale agreements, finalize completion documentation, and oversee the accurate registration of all relevant legal documents.

Conduct thorough research to ascertain the legal ownership of properties by examining government land registry documents or title deeds, particularly in instances where the land remains unregistered.
Draft property lease agreements and verify that all contracts are executed on or before the agreed-upon transfer date.
Responsible for expediting and meticulously managing all client-related matters with the Lands Registry, Local Authorities, Survey of Kenya, and the National Lands Commission.
You will collaborate with clients and essential stakeholders, including mortgage lenders, estate agents, land valuers, and surveyors, to facilitate effective communication and alignment of objectives.
We prepare and deliver engagement terms along with detailed fee estimates and disbursement projections.
Provide support in conducting due diligence and addressing intellectual property concerns pertaining to contracts, agreements, and other transactional matters.
Processing stamp duty payments and registering documents across multiple registries is a key responsibility of this role. Ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of these obligations while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements is essential to the position.
Obtain all necessary clearance certificates and approvals required for the project.
Serves as a liaison between the Land Registry and various government departments, facilitating effective communication and coordination across organizational boundaries.
Prepare legal correspondence, draft conveyancing documents, and produce various other legal instruments as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required. Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in marketing, communications, or a related area is necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is mandatory. Familiarity with CRM software and marketing automation tools is a plus. Strong analytical and project management abilities are critical. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills are needed to thrive in this fast-paced environment.
Seeking candidates with three to four years of hands-on experience gained post-admission within a fast-paced commercial law firm or department, with a strong focus on Conveyancing, Real Estate and projects, Banking Securities, and Commercial Law.
