Our esteemed client, a well-established mid-sized law firm located in Nairobi renowned for its proficiency in commercial and real estate law, is actively seeking a skilled and driven Advocate to bolster its growing legal team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting the firm with conveyancing matters, commercial transactions, and the provision of expert legal advisory services.

Overseeing key obligations and executing primary functions, this role encompasses a broad range of critical tasks and essential duties integral to the position. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining high standards of operational efficiency. Additionally, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and achieving predefined objectives through strategic planning and meticulous execution are paramount. Manage conveyancing processes from initiation to finalization, ensuring all stages are completed accurately and efficiently.

Prepare, review, and finalize property and conveyancing documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.

Draft sale agreements, leases, transfers, securities documentation, and completion records in accordance with established legal and procedural standards.

Perform comprehensive legal due diligence assessments for property transactions to identify potential risks, liabilities, and compliance issues.

Guide property registration procedures while maintaining adherence to relevant land laws and regulatory mandates.

Collaborate with land registries, survey offices, and the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning to facilitate approvals and registrations.

Compose, evaluate, and finalize commercial agreements and transactional instruments to ensure compliance with legal standards and business objectives.

Deliver expert legal counsel and advisory services pertaining to commercial and real estate transactions and related legal considerations.

Confirm that every transaction complies with all applicable statutory and regulatory mandates.

Foster and nurture professional connections with clients and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of interests.

Collaborate effectively with lenders, valuers, estate agents, and surveyors to facilitate seamless transaction completion.

Provide prompt legal advice and regular updates to clients regarding their matters.

Execute any other tasks or projects assigned by the firm as needed.
