To set up and manage cook stove production facilities, ensuring thorough testing, adherence to quality control measures, and compliance with relevant standards, while also boosting the supply chains for stoves and alternative fuels—including the critical final stage of distribution.
Drive the adoption of clean cooking solutions by implementing behavior change campaigns, conducting community sensitization initiatives, and executing pilot demonstrations of various fuels and appliances to evaluate performance, efficiency, affordability, and user acceptance.
Provide specialized technical training to artisans, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and refugee-owned businesses, covering key areas such as design, production processes, safety protocols, efficiency testing methodologies, and clean energy technologies—including alternative fuels and energy-efficient cooking solutions.
Deliver tailored business coaching and capacity-building programs for refugee and host community SMEs, perform detailed market and consumer analyses, pinpoint productive applications of energy solutions, and facilitate seamless integration of these opportunities into enterprise business models and financing strategies.
Technical contributions will be required to implement Results-Based Reimbursement (RBR) mechanisms, ensuring enterprise compliance while developing robust systems for the recording, verification, and reporting of performance data in collaboration with the MEAL team.
Develop and execute comprehensive monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEAL) frameworks, while administering socio-economic, gender, and affordability assessments through structured surveys. Additionally, facilitate the preparation of detailed reports for submission to GIG and donor partners, ensuring alignment with established standards and requirements.
Develop and implement digital data collection and monitoring tools, facilitate digital innovation pilots—such as mobile payments, smart metering, and remote monitoring—and strengthen partners’ capabilities in data utilization and reporting.
Deliver comprehensive technical assistance on environmental, gender, and social safeguards for all initiatives while ensuring strict adherence to relevant standards and requirements.
Document lessons learned, innovations, and best practices while developing analytical knowledge products to enhance program learning, replication, and scalability. Additionally, organize and lead learning events, training sessions, and workshops to foster continuous improvement and knowledge dissemination.
We seek candidates who meet the following essential criteria: a minimum of five years of progressive experience in project management, proficiency in current project management software such as Microsoft Project or Jira, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably in business administration, engineering, or computer science. Strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple high-priority projects concurrently are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in English and another language, are also mandatory.
A master’s degree in electrical/energy engineering or mechanical/environmental engineering is required for this role.
A qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy or a closely related field, such as ICS, Solar for DUE, Mini Grids, alternative fuels, HTC, or digital energy applications, coupled with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in Solar for productive use and Mini Grids.

Results-driven professional with extensive expertise in Results-Based Reimbursement/Financing Mechanisms, backed by five years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing results-based financing (RBF/RBR) initiatives, encompassing enterprise compliance frameworks and robust reporting systems.
Possesses a bachelor’s degree in Community Development or a closely related discipline from a recognized university, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in community liaison roles.
