The incumbent will conduct scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance while upholding strict adherence to aviation regulations and safety protocols. Daily responsibilities encompass conducting inspections, diagnosing issues, executing repairs, servicing aircraft systems, and meticulously documenting maintenance activities. Additionally, the role involves close coordination with the technical team to support seamless fleet operations and ensure airworthiness at all times.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, along with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++, is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, efficient code. Familiarity with agile methodologies, cloud platforms, and version control systems like Git is required. Holds a valid Class A and Class C driver’s license.
A minimum of five years of practical experience in aircraft maintenance is required.
Proficiency in operating the Dash 8 and/or Cessna 208 aircraft, as evidenced by an FAA type rating, is required for this position.
A minimum of three years of managerial experience in an aviation engineering setting is required.
Management experience, whether at a foundational or supervisory level, will be considered beneficial.
A degree or diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or an equivalent technical field is required.
