The Senior Credit Associate will oversee the Credit Pay collections process, prioritizing timely and efficient recovery of outstanding debts. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, engaging with clients, and implementing strategic measures to reduce delinquencies. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a successful background in credit and collections. By executing effective Credit Pay management and collection strategies, the Senior Credit Associate will significantly contribute to maintaining financial stability.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to ensure organizational goals are met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to optimize productivity and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives with broader business objectives while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a primary liaison between senior management and departmental teams to facilitate transparent communication and decision-making. Mentor and develop team members through targeted coaching, training programs, and career development opportunities. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and ethical guidelines to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity.

Lead and oversee the complete Credit Pay collections lifecycle, from initiation to resolution, while actively tracking delinquencies and deploying targeted collection strategies.

Conduct a thorough assessment of customer creditworthiness and, in partnership with the credit analysis team, determine appropriate credit limits.

Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships to promote transparent communication and address payment discrepancies efficiently.

Analyze customer accounts to detect patterns, assess financial behaviors, and evaluate debt recovery performance, then propose strategic enhancements to streamline processes and reduce outstanding balances.

Collaborate across departments such as sales, customer service, and other key teams to resolve client concerns efficiently and accelerate the settlement of disputes.

Employ negotiation and persuasion techniques to establish payment agreements and settle disputes in a mutually agreeable manner.

Compile and deliver periodic reports to management that detail collection activities, aging analysis, and critical performance indicators.

Stay abreast of the latest developments in industry trends, regulatory changes, and optimal methodologies within the credit and collections sector.

Does this sound like you?

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline is required.

Demonstrated expertise in credit and collections, including a minimum of three years in a senior or leadership position, is required.

Experienced in evaluating credit risk, implementing effective debt recovery tactics, and navigating legal considerations.

Skilled in communication and fostering strong interpersonal relationships to collaborate seamlessly with internal stakeholders and external clients.

Demonstrated expertise in credit management software applications and the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Possesses a strong analytical aptitude, enabling the interpretation of financial data and the formulation of well-informed decisions.

Achieves targets through a results-oriented approach, consistently striving to surpass collection objectives.
