Job Overview:

The AI Learning Specialist will be instrumental in enhancing the IRC’s ability to leverage AI tools effectively and responsibly across its worldwide operations. This role involves close collaboration with the Learning & Development Team and AI Task Forces to design, develop, and implement comprehensive learning solutions that empower staff to integrate AI confidently and ethically into their daily responsibilities. By adopting a holistic approach to learning, the specialist works alongside teams to assess current processes and systems, pinpoint performance gaps, and create tailored solutions that align with organizational needs. Deliverables will include integrated learning experiences within workflows, live facilitated sessions, and multilingual resources in formats such as e-learning modules, microlearning, job aids, and guides, catering to technical staff, program teams, and leadership across both field and office-based locations.

The preferred candidate possesses extensive expertise in generative AI capabilities, paired with robust instructional design skills and a sincere dedication to enhancing organizational capabilities in international development contexts. Upskilling Delivery & Facilitation

Deliver guidance and assistance to employees spanning diverse proficiency levels, ranging from novices in AI to seasoned practitioners.

Design and implement targeted training programs tailored to particular use cases and diverse staff categories or professional profiles.

To ensure effective project outcomes, the role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address their needs through comprehensive assessments, thereby facilitating alignment between project objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Partner with the AI Staff and Culture Task Force and other AI working groups to ensure learning initiatives are fully aligned with the organization’s AI strategy.

Collect input from learners and perform systematic needs evaluations with staff across various regions and departments to pinpoint learning deficiencies, assess program impact, and set strategic priorities.

Partner with IT, Data, and other technical teams to ensure awareness of AI tool implementations and updates, identifying optimal integration points for learning touchpoints within technology platforms.

Equip educators and managers across various departments with practical AI competencies, fostering proficiency in contextual applications, best practices, and industry-specific terminology.

We are seeking a Learning Analytics & Continuous Improvement professional to analyze educational data, identify trends, and implement strategies that enhance learning outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, and experience with learning management systems. Responsibilities include collecting and interpreting learning data, developing actionable insights, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
