POSITION SUMMARY

Kitchen Support Experts provide essential assistance to various hotel departments, including the kitchen, food and beverage operations, and employee dining services. Using keyboards, mice, or trackballs, they input and retrieve data from computer databases to update records and files. These associates operate standard office equipment beyond computers and draft correspondence, memos, and other documents with word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software. Additionally, they design and maintain both digital and physical filing systems to organize records, reports, and documents efficiently. Their responsibilities also include compiling, copying, sorting, and filing records related to office activities, business transactions, and other operational tasks, as well as using computers to enter and retrieve work-related information.

You must comply with all company policies, safety protocols, and security measures, while promptly reporting any maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions to your manager. Additionally, complete all required safety training and obtain necessary certifications. Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance, uphold confidentiality regarding proprietary information, and safeguard company assets. Greet and acknowledge guests in accordance with company guidelines, using clear and professional communication at all times. Foster positive working relationships to contribute effectively to team objectives and uphold quality standards. This role may require prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking, as well as reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. You should be capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and positioning objects up to 25 pounds independently. Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in software development or systems administration. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, coupled with expertise in database management and cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment are also required. Candidates should demonstrate prior experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Education: Applicants must possess a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a closely related discipline.

Candidates must possess at least three to four years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position.

Seeking candidates with prior experience in a hospitality or luxury service setting, ideally within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
