Hot point Appliances Ltd was founded in 1984, with its inaugural retail outlet situated in Nairobi’s Sari Centre shopping mall.
During the late 1990s, the company was granted the exclusive distributorship for LG Electronics. This milestone was followed by expansions into additional international brands, including Prison, West point, and Kenwood. By 2002, Hot point had solidified its position as one of the region’s leading retailers and wholesalers of consumer electronics and entertainment products, with a nationwide presence across Kenya.
