Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is a not-for-profit pediatric medical facility founded in 1947. As the oldest and most distinguished children’s hospital in Eastern and Central Africa, it delivers essential healthcare services to pediatric patients in Kenya as well as those referred from neighboring nations. The hospital serves over 300,000 outpatients each year through a network of 15 locations across Nairobi and its surrounding areas. Additionally, it accommodates more than 9,000 inpatients annually at its 100-bed flagship facility in Mathieu, Nairobi.
