Taking inspiration from the 600-year history of academic excellence in the UK, and following the recent establishment of Durham School for Girls in Doha, Durham will launch its Nairobi campus in September 2020 with the opening of Durham International Nursery for children aged 3–6 years. The long-term vision includes the development of a full Primary and Secondary School. Durham International Nursery will provide a secure, nurturing environment where children can thrive during their formative years, fostering their individual growth in a supportive and inclusive setting.
Situated in an affluent, verdant suburb of Nairobi, near several embassies and the United Nations headquarters, Durham International Nursery will accommodate up to 200 children. The facility will feature expansive teaching and learning areas, a swimming pool, outdoor play spaces, and dedicated indoor areas for creative arts and design.
