Key responsibilities encompass overseeing daily operations, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Represent the Local Social Welfare and Development Team (LSTM) in engagements with government agencies, funding bodies, research collaborators, and regional and international stakeholders, ensuring alignment of initiatives with established objectives and fostering collaborative partnerships.

Serve as the senior operational liaison, fostering collaboration and communication between internal teams and external partners.

Design program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and establish comprehensive performance measurement frameworks to systematically evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of organizational design, workforce planning initiatives, and governance frameworks to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and operational efficiency.

Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory, ethical, and data governance standards and frameworks throughout all operations and processes.

Conduct project meetings and participate in steering committees to drive progress and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include managing the financial aspects of research grants, administering budgeting processes, conducting financial forecasting, and preparing accurate financial reports.

Develop and integrate uniform program management standards, tools, and processes consistently across LSTM Kenya.

Responsible for managing work plans to guarantee timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Ensure strict adherence to donor-specific requirements while maintaining audit readiness at all times.

Ideally, you will exhibit strong proficiency in demonstrating the following competencies:

A master’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in the sector is required.

Seasoned expertise in program and project management, supported by comprehensive professional training, is essential to this role.

Extensive experience leading substantial, multipartner, or cross-border health research initiatives is required.

Accomplished professionals in the administrative oversight of clinical trials and research initiatives are sought. Candidates must demonstrate prior experience in managing the logistical and operational aspects of clinical studies and research programs.

Seasoned professionals with a proven track record in quality assurance, spanning diverse project portfolios, are encouraged to apply.
