A leading organization within the Telecommunications industry is seeking a dynamic Zonal Sales Manager to join their team.

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for driving the sales and distribution of communication products and services—such as airtime, SIM cards, mobile financial services, and devices—to resellers and distributors within a designated territory. The role involves identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to maximize sales performance while ensuring efficient operations throughout the assigned region.

Drive revenue growth across both Mobile and Mobile Financial Services (MFS) segments within the designated territory, ensuring consistent attainment of sales targets.

Drive customer acquisition initiatives to meet defined base growth objectives through targeted outreach and promotional campaigns.

Execute channel-specific strategies that align with organizational objectives, specifically targeting Account Sales Organizations (ASOS), Strategic Sales Organizations (SOS), and Agency partnerships.

Facilitate the attainment of Site Profitability targets within the designated Territory through strategic site-based initiatives and programs.

Drive and lead the comprehensive people capability initiative across all organizational levels, encompassing TDRs, DSO’s, and Commandos.

To uphold customer expectations related to service standards and product expertise, ensure consistent delivery across both company-owned and partner-operated retail locations.

Develop and implement strategic responses by continuously analyzing competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Compile and deliver reports in accordance with specified schedules and requirements as needed.
