Job Summary
Rivet Software & Systems LTD seeks a proactive and dependable Onsite Technician to strengthen our expanding team. The preferred candidate will deliver onsite technical support, perform system installations, conduct maintenance, execute troubleshooting, and provide customer assistance for our software and hardware solutions.

Deliver in-person technical assistance and resolve system issues on-site.
Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Troubleshoot technical issues, perform routine updates, and implement security measures to protect systems against vulnerabilities. Collaborate with IT teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Additionally, document system configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate future maintenance.
Provide clients with comprehensive assistance in system configuration and technical troubleshooting to ensure seamless user experiences.
Efficiently diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal system functionality.
Perform regular upkeep and systematic evaluations of systems.
Provide user training on system operations as needed to ensure proficiency.
Prepare comprehensive technical reports and timely updates, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all documentation. Maintain detailed records of project progress, findings, and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining clear and professional communication with clients.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required; equivalent practical experience may be considered. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ and familiarity with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL are essential. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are critical for this role. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in software development, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and DevOps practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a comparable discipline is required.
A fundamental comprehension of computer systems, networking principles, and software troubleshooting is required.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and establish strong interpersonal relationships is essential.
